It’s no secret that I have a great love for independent retailers. I live slap-bang in the middle of Manchester’s creative quarter and it’s pretty inspirational.

Whenever I’m looking for something ‘different’ that isn’t mass produced or easily available I head straight to Etsy (An online ecommerce website filled with a whole load of talent).

Etsy is one of those places where you’ll always find something better than what you was originally looking. I spend way too much time on the site scrolling through unique, bespoke, handcrafted pieces and I’ve finally decided to get in touch with a few of my favourites to show you… and in this case WIN!!

These little 3 individuals are up for grabs!

The pieces are designed and created by Jasmin at A Couple Of Smiles who creates her products out of shrink plastic! Each of her products is hand painted and baked. Meaning each and every one of her designs is unique and slightly different from the next! But as the plastic shrinks to 45% smaller than the original the detail in these illustrations are incredible.

Little foxes, quirky dinosaurs, woodland creatures and fun fried eggs, A Couple Of Smiles is pretty darn unique with it’s adorable style brooches and quirky earrings.
