Firstly I apologise for my “glum” look, i was in a bit of a rush and so didn’t get too snap happy, so to speak.
After past experience I for one find that you don’t always get what you pay for when it comes to makeup and therefor I’m a big fan of high-street makeup brands. I couple of these products are pretty versatile (if you can use that word for describing makeup) as i tend to use my brow pencil as a crease line eyeshadow and the Maybelline eyeshadow as a highlighter as the pigment isn’t too strong. One of my favourite brands (if you haven’t noticed already) is Bourjois. Not the cheapest on the high-street but not the most expensive. I find that their products are a perfect match to my skin colour and in particular their gel based Healthy Mix Foundation is perfect for my dry-combination skin.

I always carry more than I need in my makeup bag, just in case I wake up and fancy something slightly different from my usually “everyday look”. So I don’t use every product I have cluttered in my bag.  My everyday makeup usually consists of: Foundation, Concealer, Blusher, Liquid Liner, Mascara & Brow Pencil. The Mascara i use on a daily basis is the Avon Super Curlacious and id highly recommend it as it doesn’t clog the lashes together and really lengthens them alot! But if im heading on a night out or just want my lashes a little thicker I’ll use the Rimmels Scandal Eyes mascara on top of the Avon one to thicken them up! On the occasional days depending on how my skin is Il use the Bourjois Powder as its great for taking away any oily shine or if m looking slightly paler than normal Il brush on the Bourjois Medium Bronzer, which all of Bourjois products smell DIVINE especially the cocoa scented bronzer.

My recent purchase from Bourjois was the NEW Bourjois Black Felt Tip Eyeliner. Ive had experience with the Maybelline one before and hated it. But after using the Bourjois tester in the shop and liking how black it stayed once applied I figured I’d give it a go and it was half price too! The positives about the felt tip is that It’s pretty damn hard NOT to get a straight line and so is perfect for those with shaking hands. The thin nib is also great for dotting the lash line if you want to thicken the lashes without creating a lined eye.
Ive  used this product a couple times to do the winged liner look and found that it swept on a lot neater than most liners I’ve used. The only downside to this product is that it smudges a little at the edges but other than that Id recommend it! I tend to use the felt tip along the lashes as I don’t like the liner too thick & then the clubbing liner to do the winged flick! All in All id give this product 9/10!
