Valentine’s Day At Lush Manchester

Valentine’s Day At Lush Manchester

Last week I was invited to Manchester’s first Lush event held at the Market Street store to celebrate the launch of the new Valentine’s Day collection.

I and a handful of other bloggers were lucky enough to explore the store after closing time giving us the opportunity to delve deep into its contents and ask informative questions.

Not only were we let loose to ogle over the packed shelves and sample the products but we also were given the chance to make the infamous ‘The Comforter’ bubble bar which coincidentally is one of my favourite Lush products!

It was interesting to see the simple and raw ingredients that go into making their ethical and natural products, not to mention the fun element of creating our own. But as well as having the chance to explore the store, pick the brains of the incredibly friendly staff and be more hands on with the Lush products, we were also introduced to the Valentine’s Day themed collection.

The collection is all about romantic, fun and flirty scents with playful colours and novelty touches and we were kind enough to be given a selection to try!

Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar
A crumbling bubble bar with uplifting neroli oil, ylang ylang and lavender. Dispersing a magical bubble fort surrounded by a shimmering purple moat and a relaxing/ uplifting scent.

Prince Charming Shower Cream
A bright pink shower gel with an uplifting grapefruit and pomegranate scent softened with vanilla and cocoa butter. To me its marshmallow scent is almost similar too Turkish delight!

Lover Lamp Bath Bomb

One of the cutest bath bombs made with softening cocoa butter. This bath bomb disperses small and large buttery red hearts that when massaged into the skin releases a chocolate orange scent.

Soft Coeur Massage Bar
A comforting toffee scented massage bar with almond oil and cocoa butter surrounding a honey and cocoa inner centre leaving skin smelling delicious.
