Top 5 Flushes of Spring Blushers

Top 5 Flushes of Spring Blushers
Out with the pale matt skin, bold eyes and berry lips: In with the dewy base, barely there mascara and a flush of spring blush. One of my favourite makeup looks has to be that fresh spring skin (unless you break out then it’s the worst!) with a healthy glow and barely there makeup. It’s fun to play around with light contouring to create that natural fresh faced look.
With that there’s one product hiding away in your makeup bag that’ll instantly transition your everyday makeup without breaking the bank. Whether its creams, powders, tints or lacquers that you prefer, adding a ‘spring’ shade of blush to your everyday makeup routine can freshen your face and give you that healthy dewy look.
Here’s my top 5 favourite shades to add a flush of spring blush to your everyday makeup:

1. Vivo Baked Blush – Peaches & Cream
I’ve had this blusher for years so I’m hoping you can still get your hands on it! It’s my go to everyday shade if I’m opting for a peachy pink pop of colour with a natural glow. The shade is pretty much a dupe for the ever so popular Nar’s blush in ‘Orgasm’ with equally buildable pigment and no glitter. It works beautifully with a matt base giving an instant lift to the cheek bones and spring pop of colour.
2. No7 Pop & Glow Blush Stick – Mango Sorbet
I’ve never been a fan of cream blushers until I purchased this little tube of ‘Mango Sorbet’ gold. The No7 Pop & Glow blush is an orange/peach shade with a cream to powder finish and matt look. Easy to apply applying by dabbing it straight onto your cheeks with a twist motion or warm it up on your fingers and pop it onto the apple of the cheeks. This shade leaves a natural barely there finish that works great alongside a dewy base on both pale or tanned skin.
3. Glo Minerals – Sweet
The Glow Minerals powder blush in shade ‘Sweet’ is a pale pink/ pastel peach shade with a slight gold highlight. A perfect natural barely there shade that adds a healthy glow to the cheeks on the first application or build up the pigment for a more noticeable but equally natural flush of colour.

4. The Body Shop Shimmer Waves – Coral
The ultimate cheek shimmer to create a dewy spring finish over a light/ matt foundation. This pretty little brick of Spring themed blush waves creates a beautifully highlighted finish with just a touch of colour. I prefer to use this product to highlight the tops of my cheekbones after heavy contouring as it instantly lifts the cheeks and compliments a golden glow.
5. The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Shade – Macaroon

As well as the Vivo Baked Blush, The Body Shop Cheek Shade in the shade ‘Macaroon’ is another of my favourite every day shades. When I’m opting for dewy skin or a bronze glow I pop on this peachy pink matt shade. The product itself has medium pigment with buildable coverage that works beautifully on the apples of the cheeks to add a pop of healthy colour.
