The Private White V.C. A/W Launch Party

So, on Wednesday evening I was kindly invited to the launch of the Autumn/ Winter 2014 clothing range from a Manchester manufactured brand named ‘Private White V.C.’. The event was held their incredibly impressive factory store nestled in the heart of Manchester.
The Private White V.C. brand is a throwback to the past with their vintage wartime cuts that are updated with classic traditional detailing and functionality.
Just before we boarded a quaint vintage bus to take us straight to factory store of which is tucked away in the back streets of Manchester, I met up with the lovely Frances from francascassandra.com
On arrival it’s fair to say that the store itself made a huge impression on all the guests. With its shabby chic interior, exposed brick walls/ pipes, vintage style accessories and pretty amazing graphic prints it was almost like stepping in between the line of the vintage past and creative present.
The 2nd floor above the store lies the impressively large factory containing the original machinery and equipment dating back to the 1950’s of which is still used to this day! If you’re looking for a flash back to the working life of the 1950’s then you need to visit the Private White V.C. factory! In fact the brand welcomes visitors to the factory to see a guided tour of the machinery and seamstresses in action!
After a tour of the impressive large factory and equally incredible store interior, the cocktails and canapés where making their rounds, the music was cranked up and the complimentary murmurs between guests became apparent.
The Private White V.C. put on an incredible launch party with live music from Josh Goddard (band name: Lucky T Jackson), Pasta Paul on the vintage vinyl, live sewing demonstrations, canapés, cocktails, personalised embroidery for guests and a goody bags!
