That exciting feeling when you’re clearing out your wardrobe and you rediscover and old favourite you bought last year and forgot you ever owned.

This cropped washed denim shirt was never off my back last year as I teamed it with maxi dresses, high waist skirts, casual Vans and pretty sandals but after rediscovering it at the back of my wardrobe, this year I’ve decided to see how I can dress it up!

I teamed it with my favourite leather look peplum skirt from Dorothy Perkins. This skirt is so comfortable with its semi-stretch material and edgy laser cut peplum frill. The only (rather amusing) trouble I have with this body con style skirt is being able to walk at a fast pace. It’s figure hugging fit can be a little restrictive when it comes to hurrying off in your heels but all the same I love this skirt to death. Its versatile style adds a touch of edge and glamour to any plain outfit you want to throw at it and its body con fit makes it easy to throw on a loose white tee and still look ‘put together’. 

Throw on a pair of heels, loosen a couple of buttons, slip on some jewellery and you’re good to go!
