Springing Into Utility

Dress: ASOS, Shirt-NewLook, Bag-Promod, Boots-Topshop, Necklace-Topshop, Scarf-H&M, Feather Bracelet-Rings&Tings, Bead Bracelet-Market, Sunglasses-Folli&Follie

We’ve been having such beautiful Spring weather recently, it’s nice to finally have the opportunity to don my Folli Follie shades, go outdoors and take some outfit snaps! The temperature is at the point where it’s just about okay to venture out without a jacket but the chill from the wind requires a layer or two.
This has pretty much been my ‘go to’ outfit for casual weekend wanderings and coffee shop visits. The ASOS long ribbed midi dress is super comfortable although the spaghetti straps (as with every top/ dress I buy) where a little too long so I’ve had to knot them up to shorten them. It seems to be difficult to find dresses/ tops with adjustable straps and when you finally do they are so much pricier!
The khaki green utility shirt is a key piece in anyones wardrobe. It is a strong, versatile piece to wear buttoned up with a statement necklace, tucked into a skirt, worn over leggings, with jeans or (as styled) its the perfect shirt to throw on over a black or grey dress and look effortlessly put together.

I’ve also never had my feet out of these beige cut out ankle boots from Topshop, they are the perfect transitional  ankle boot to take you from winter through to spring. The beige shade also means they go with every outfit i own, although thats not difficult when your wardrobe doesn’t consist of colour!
