Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer Review

Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer Review (*)
Silk fibres have become a popular ingredient used in more newbie makeup products, typically known for lengthening lashes they’re now thickening brows for a more bold, fuller look.
Although I’m not one for the Cara Delevigne look, eye brows play a big part in makeup application and for me I like to ‘fill in the gaps’ and create a more defined brow. I do have my favourites but I’m always on the hunt to find products that can give me more defined brows in one smooth sweep.
The Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer is promoted as being brush on brow extensions to thicken, lengthen and fill in to create the perfect brows. The product itself contains hundreds of tiny fibres mixed combined with a finely milled powder in your chosen shade.
The shades themselves are a lot darker than they look so I chose the ‘light shade’ which you’d assume would be for dark blondes but came up more of a warm chocolate brown. The shade did match quite well however I prefer more of a cool toned brown to match my skin tone.
I applied the product in small sweeps along the shape of my eye brow in which the fibres appeared to cling to the hairs and the powder (surprisingly) didn’t drop. It was however quite hard to be precise with the application as the doe footed applicator is quite chunky for shaping the arch of the brow. I also found it a little difficult to create that ideal transition of thickness from the inner to the outer corner of the brow but the overall result still appeared quite natural.
This product is great for those who prefer a more naturally thick brow with soft definition or to use to thicken/ fill in the gaps after using a pencil or a gel. But for me I’d still need to use my favorite Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade to shape before using the Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer.
