I’ve become ridiculously obsessed with anything navy ever since the retailers threw out their winter stock. It’s one of those fail safe colours that go hand in hand with the typical autumn/winter berry shades in which I tend to drag the whole way throughout the year. So when French Connection contacted me to ask if I would like to choose one of their pieces to style out, I immediately had to get my hands on something (surprise surprise) navy… and knitted!

I’d been after a light knit jumper for a while, something that can be layered up with a scarf and not feel as though you’ve been dropped off in the middle of the dessert wearing a snow suit. That’s why this Sloanie Slub Scoop Neck Jumper immediately caught my eye. Its pointelle knit is super cute for layering up with a scarf or even layering under with a coloured cami-top that’ll emphasise the polka dot-esque pattern. The textured knit surprisingly isn’t too see through that you can see the exact shade of your bra and has a flattering scoop neck slouchy fit.
The soft cotton material and slouchy high-low back design is perfect for teaming with jeans or (as per) tucking into a maxi skirts with a chunky statement necklace. One thing I love about this jumper is that I’m forever rolling up long sleeves that unfortunately result in baggy cuffs so the ¾ cut is perfect style.
