Mini Spring Personal Style Haul

Heeled Sandles (Dorothy Perkins) Sunglasses / Gold Bangles/ Cropped Bobble Jumper (H&M) ,  Stripey Top (River Island) Beige Boots/ Plaid Midi Skirt Ostrich Clutch (Primark) Deer Necklace (Etsy)
In the past I’ve tried to dip my style into pastel shades and neon pops but it just isn’t me.  Why should I feel the need to wear brighter clothes and floral prints just because the sun is shining? I hate that the high street fill their rails with pastel pinks and baby blue hues just because the weather is ‘happier’.
When it comes to Spring/ Summer style I’ve never been one for colour. As far as my wardrobe is concerned I venture into the odd shade of red but even that is complimented by prestige black or cloudy grey.
When it comes to personal style I find it a little harder to browse on the highstreet in Spring/ Summer and there for tend to shop more online for key pieces. However this year I’ve found that the highstreet (although still ruled by pastels and floral print) contains more monochrome and neutral pieces.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect cat eye sunglasses for months. I don’t know if I’m just  fussy when it comes to shopping for sunglasses as i always find it a chore.  They’re either too big, too small, too square, too round or too blingy. So when i tried these beauties on in H&M and loved their subtle cat eye shape, I had to snap up both shades and for just £5.99 each who wouldnt?

I spotted these classic sandals in Dorothy Perkins for a bargain £24. They’re great statement footwear that could be worn day or night as the heel isn’t too big nor too small (as Goldilocks would say… ‘just right’). I recently teamed these with a thigh split maxi skirt and the flash of leg with the gold ankle buckle around the foot looked super sexy… yes a sexy foot… if that’s even possible?
I have to admit I venture into Primark regularly in hope I will snap up a statement piece for a bargain price but I repeatedly walk out empty handed. If it wasn’t for the most popular hauls on YouTube…. ‘Primark Hauls’ then I most likely wouldn’t of spotted this incredible plaid midi skirt which led me to purchase a couple more pieces from Primark (I believe we call this ‘Shopper Happy’).
