I’ve been after a daily facial wash for a while, Something to wake me up in a morning and freshen my face ready for the usual lotions and potions. I research the benefits of natural ingredients a heck of a lot so I knew I wanted it to contain that rather silent skin brightener – grapefruit (Yes I am that person who spends 15 minutes in Boots reading through the massive list of ingredients in skin products).

I’m already a big fan of the Garnier brand especially the Pure Active Exfo-brusher wash which works a treat on making my blemishes go into hiding. But this bottled beauty caught my eye (how could it not in its rather luminous orange packaging). It contains grapefruit, pomegranate and vitamin C. All ingredients in which contain natural anti oxidants to fight signs of wrinkles, blemishes, repair the skin and restore its color and tone.

The formula is a light-medium gel consistency that once applied to damp skin transforms into a foam, which meant I could massage the product into my skin without it turning into a Mrs Doubtfire cream tea moment and dripping off my face. The scent of this product makes it a great morning face wash for that wake me up feel. A citric, grapefruit scent with a slight hint of a vanilla like ingredient to mellow down the tangy tones. After first use the gel wash left my skin feeling super clean, fresh and strangely energised without drying my skin out.

The product is targeted towards skin that is prone to imperfections and although my skin has been behaving its blemish known self recently i did notice that my skin looked a lot healthier and more glowing after a couple uses.

I’d really recommend this product if your after a morning face wash to use as a ‘pick me up’ that helps fight imperfections and aids dull skin. A definite repurchase!
