So it’s finally September.  A month I’ve been eager for the year to rush too as its autumn… my favourite season.  Cosy knits, berry shades, chunky boots and beret hats! Those slouchy knitted hats are a life saviour on those days when you just want to be comfortable yet still semi-appropriate for venturing outside.

Baseball tops have become a basics staple in my wardrobe. They’re surprisingly flattering and more versatile than you think. A casual piece that you spruce up with a chunky necklace and some day time heels or go casual with jeans and a pair of pumps.

I was never a fan of backpacks, thinking they looked a little too ‘young teenager’. However I’ve weirdly (although I only currently own one) have become a little obsessed with their statement look and handy style and would love to grab a couple more in black and khaki.   

Now Autumn’s hit I will be back to buying copious amounts of knitted hats and patterned scarves. I already have my eye on a pair of plum boots and a tweed mix jacket; I just need a heads up from the temperature to purchase them!
